When my sister asked me the other day for my wish list, I took a quick scroll through my Amazon wishlist (which has more or less become a list of things I want/need to buy for myself) and realized how many things I wanted were under $20, but that I just hadn’t taken the time or money to order them. Luckily, it made for an inexpensive and easy list.
In no particular order, let’s get into it.
Rose Gold Aluminum Popsocket
I got a new all-black phone case and thought the Popsockets with the black “body” would look great on it. Plus, yes, I’m a victim of the rose gold trend. I just think it’s so pretty and combines two of my favorite colors: pink and gold! And since my last Popsocket came off my phone, I’ve realized how spoiled I’ve become having one on.
This one in particular, but I would like to have a tripod for a few reasons. I have been dabbling with the idea of starting a YouTube channel, or at least making videos for my blog, because I realize that a few of my more verbose posts could be better suited as a short video. I also love watching cleaning/DIY/homemaking videos on YouTube and I thought I might hop on board that train.
Bob’s Burgers Sunshade
I’ve seen a few people with this and I absolutely love it. I’m a big Bob’s Burgers fan and watched the entire series with Shane so far. We also have been watching some of the holiday themed episodes as the seasons come around. I’ve tried to get more particular with my fandom trinkets, as I’m trying to only have things that serve a purpose or can be displayed easily, and I’ve been needing a sunshade for the Jetta.
I love this trend and I think they’re so cute, but really, I always have. I also love that, because it’s trendy right now, they come in so many colors and shapes and letter styles to fit any type of decor. I’ve also been seeing how people cover the frame in washi tape to go with their seasonal decor, which obviously I’m a fan of.
Home Comforts: The Art & Science of Keeping House
I found this on a Buzzfeed gift list, and was absolutely sold. To be honest, a lot of things on my wish lists are from Buzzfeed lists, because they have such good ideas. I was intrigued by this because I’ve been loving housekeeping videos on YouTube and I’ve always had an affinity (though I lack the patience and motivation) for housekeeping. That being said, I love having the knowledge of how to do and take care of things in my own home.
Anything for my Happy Planner
Last year, I bought my sister a Happy Planner kit for Christmas. She had asked for it specifically and it was her favorite gift that year. Every year I buy myself a new planner, usually a cute but plain one, that I give up on halfway through February, so when Shane told me I shouldn’t have bought the HP because I was just going to forget about it like I usually do, I was determined to make great use of it. I’d gotten it on sale, because I refused to pay $25 for it, but then I ended up buying so many accessories for it and became obsessed. I didn’t keep up with it like I would have liked to, but I’ve been using it in December like my life depended on it and bought a new one for 2018.
I am a woman of many interests. That being said, there are a handful of those interests that I’m willing to put on “display” at any given time. When I was writing the wish list for my sister, I told her: “anything French bulldog, coffee, avocado, sriracha, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The IT Crowd, or Disney related.” It seems like a relatively random selection of things, but it’s very me. Between shirts, mugs, sriracha keychains, phone cases, and accessories, these are all things I would more than happily put on display to show off my love for them, and to maybe find someone who also loves them. Or thinks they’re funny. Either works for me.
That’s what’s on my list. What’s on yours? Leave me a comment and let me know!
