I’ve accumulated quite a few things over the year. Here are my favorites of my favorites.
MAMBI Happy Planner
Y’all, I love my Happy Planner by MAMBI. I’ve always loved the idea of planners but have been terrible at keeping up with them. Even still, I wasn’t super great about keeping up with my planner this year, but I cut myself some slack and am enthusiastic about picking it back up. I love how customizable it is, and I honestly forget things all the time, so being able to sit down and look at a whole week or month at a time is very helpful for me. Plus, I get to make it pretty.
Obviously my most favorite favorite of 2017 is my Jetta. It’s pretty and new and it’s honestly just so nice to have a car that works. I’m so so so thankful for it every single day.
Yo! Okay, but I can’t believe how much I love this. It’s one of those YouTube and Instagram-hyped beauty products, but it’s so worth it. Plus, it’s hard to argue with that drugstore price for such high-end quality. I recommend it to everyone, now, and the ones I’ve convinced to try it are converts now.
When I bought this coat from Poshmark, I didn’t think it would come in handy as much as it has. We’ve gotten quite a few cold days so far this winter (*knock on wood that it sticks around*) and I love having a jacket that’s both warm and stylish. I’ve always wanted a pea coat, and this one is perfect. It’s got a great shape and the pattern and colors are so classic that it can be worn with a tee shirt and jeans, or a nice dress and tights. Best part? It was originally from Walmart’s Faded Glory brand, so even if I hadn’t gotten such a great deal from Poshmark, I would still not had to drop too much cash for it.
Remember when I was all excited about Google Docs because I could just write from anywhere? Okay, so can someone explain why no one told me about Google Drive? It’s like having a USB drive that you can access from any device. Like, what?! Mind blown. It’s so easy to just transfer everything on there, and if I have to spend money to expand my memory on there, I probably will.
My Popsocket came off my phone a few weeks ago, and it wasn’t until then that I realized how spoiled I got by having it. It makes using your phone so much easier. I’m supposed to be getting a new phone in January, so I’m just holding out until I that to get a new one, but this waiting time has been hard. LOL!
I’ve had an account for most of the year, but it wasn’t until about August that I actually started posting stuff and making sales. To date, I’ve made over $120 from stuff I would have just given away. Don’t get me wrong, I think charity is important, but my donating clothes is purely out of laziness. But I’ve not only sold things on the website, I’ve also bought things. As I mentioned before, my new coat came from there, and one of my new favorite pairs of jeans I bought on Poshmark. It’s definitely worth checking out and honestly, even if you don’t sell anything, you’ll just be taking it to the thrift store for no money.
This wasn’t listed in any of my favorites lists for this year, because it’s a new one for December, but wow these are good. I’m not sure what I expected, but the flavors of these are so good, and they are such a good snack when I can feel the hanger setting in. I like to have one on hand for that time after work when I haven’t had lunch yet, but I don’t want to waste money on fast food. The only bad part about them is that they do get stuck in your teeth, but they’re just too good for it to matter too much to me.
You should already know why I love these based on my other posts, but they honestly made cleaning fun again. I will say, I noticed that dish soap wasn’t as good at cutting through grease and oil as the Seventh Generation Free and Clear soap I bought (and put peppermint oil in when I couldn’t find the peppermint scented dish soap) but otherwise they’re so nice.
LINNMON / ADILS Desk
It’s about that time of year where I do a craft room re-do update for you all, and this time I’ve got some big changes coming. With that in mind, I have to say how much I love my desk. So much so, in fact, that I’m getting a longer one for crafting and finally getting rid of the two black ones that I’ve had for quite some time.
This list was actually really hard to narrow down, so I had to add things that were legitimately amazing to me this year (versus things I loved but weren’t necessarily life-changing). I hope you enjoyed my list, and maybe you can pick some of these things up for yourself for the new year.
I also want to say how thankful I am for you all that are here reading this. You’ve made this otherwise incredibly difficult year manageable and I’m so thankful to ahve this outlet.
Keep an eye out for regular posts and new content, and if you have any post ideas or suggestions, feel free to comment them or email them to me. You can also always find me on Instagram where you can get a peek at more of my daily life.
