Every year, Kristin and I scope out the grocery stores starting mid-August to see what pumpkin-flavored treats will be making their debut.
We make it a point to give each other our opinions and will buy said treats accordingly.
This year, I thought it would be fun if we gathered as many treats, drinks, and various pumpkin-flavored food items as we could find and reviewed and rated them for you!

I absolutely love seeing the fall bucket list infographics that make their way around Instagram and Pinterest every year; they remind me of all my favorite things about the season and bring me a level of joy and excitement that no season (except Christmas) brings.
That being said, there are always a handful of things on those lists that I either can’t do because of where I live, or they’re things I do every year and don’t feel them necessary to add to such lists (I mean, I definitely don’t need to be reminded to decorate for fall/Halloween – have you met me?) I asked on Instagram and Facebook the other day if I should do a Q & A post and it was unanimously decided that I should, in fact, do it. Unfortunately, no one had any questions, so I took it upon myself to find ones to answer. As I’m a relatively open book (and because I’ve done a few “Random Facts” posts) I didn’t feel like anyone would be super interested in the basics, so I went on the hunt for questions I’ve not answered on the blog before.

I didn’t include some items I tried over the past week or so because I want to give myself a chance to really try them out before I decide whether or not they’re a true favorite (because you know I like to do a yearly favorites roundup in December/January). That means everything on this list has been something I’ve enjoyed over the past month.

May is here, temperatures are soaring (seriously, it’s pretty much permanently in the 80s and 90s here now), and students and teachers alike can feel the pull of summer. Passing by my apartment pool that isn’t opened yet has been so tempting lately, and I’m looking for all the stretchy shorts to live in when I’m not at work.
I did this post last year on getting your body “summer ready” where I tried to remind you, readers, that however you choose to embrace summer is completely up to you and totally valid – even if it means hiding inside your air-conditioned home and pretending seasons don’t exists until fall comes.
But what if you want to actually embrace summer this year? You’ve decided you want to wear shorts and have summer parties and swim and eat popsicles and try to just enjoy life because three months is a long time to be miserable? Continue reading “How to Actually Enjoy Summer”
