I honestly don’t know that I’ve ever done an outfit post on this blog, which doesn’t really surprise me considering I’ve worn uniforms to work for the past five years up until about three months ago.
If you follow me on Instagram, you can see that I’ve been trying to document my outfits on my Stories everyday (sometimes twice a day if I forgot the day before), but I don’t every share where the outfits came from.
This past week, I thought it would be fun to spend a whole week dressed up in outfits that were inspired by outfit pictures I saw (and Pinned) on Pinterest. Continue reading “Outfit Roundup: Pinterest Inspired”
This year, 2019, is the 10th anniversary of the year I graduated high school. In fact, I just got a message on Facebook asking that I RSVP by August 1st so they can start finalizing venue options.
This is important information, because the personal evolution that has taken place in the last 10 years is incredible, both in size and the ways in which I have grown as a person.

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’m back (for now) and I thought it was a good time to do a post about activewear for summer. It’s not officially summer yet, but it’s getting there.
Even if you exercise indoors, it still sucks to be going to the gym in a big shirt and long leggings. Unfortunately, working out in summer is just going from hot to hotter.
I have feelings about summer. You all should know this by now.
Anyway, I’ve compiled a pretty good collection of summer activewear ideas to help keep you going even when you sweat more just walking inside before your workout even begins. Continue reading “Plus Size Activewear for Summer”
I love the feeling of having meals prepped for the week. It feels like I finally have my shit together. But what I don’t love is the effort it takes to actually do the prepping. It’s not hard, per se, but I have a hard time convincing myself to do both the weekly shopping and the cooking on the same day.
It’s pure laziness. 😉

Recently I had a conversation with my good friend Laura about doing things with intent – making things happen instead of letting it happen to you. It came up because we were talking about how excited I was to be able to pick out what clothes I get to wear to work at my new job instead of having to wear a uniform, whitening my teeth because I’ve been embarrassed by the color, and meal prepping so I’m ready for the week. We talked about being a “girl boss” and “getting our lives together” and how exciting the prospect is.
But the idea of intentional choices and living life on purpose has intrigued me more and more lately. Continue reading “Living with Intent”
